The 8th meeting of the board of directors of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority were held today in the main office of the Authority, headed by H.E Dr. Tawfiq Al Rabiah, Minister of Health.
In the beginning of the meeting, his Excellency welcomed the members and discussed the meeting agenda that included initiatives of fleet management of the Authority, as it target a reduction in response time for the ambulances and to measure performance indicator in dealing with emergency cases in addition to establishing links between ambulance vehicles and operation center to give direction to location.
A presentation of the initiative was delivered to discuss technical solutions to enhance response time and take advantage of execution of the initiative to get over the current obstacles.
The meeting agenda also included discussing programs conducted by the Authority dedicated to improve skills of emergency medical service providers that lead to a premium service complied with state-of-art technology in the field of emergency services as well awareness lectures and courses to the community.
The meeting reviewed the most recent projects of the Authority such as TETRA project and SRCA SOS mobile application in addition to the use of e-services for emergency reports dispatch.
The board of directors reviewed the meeting agenda and took necessary actions on regard.
