The Saudi Red Crescent Authority has mobilized more than 550 male and female volunteers to participate in Hajj season 1446 H operations, supporting the Authority’s emergency coverage in Makkah, Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah by providing both medical and humanitarian services to the Guests of Allah.

Since the arrival of pilgrims through land border crossings—including Al-Haditha in Al-Jouf, Al-Wadiah in Najran, Jadidat Arar in the Northern Borders, and Halat Ammar in Tabuk—SRCA’s volunteer teams have been actively involved in assisting pilgrims along their journey.

The volunteers are assigned across multiple tracks:

Volunteers operate around the clock at high-density locations such as the Grand Mosque in Makkah, the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah, and the Holy Sites. They are deployed through well-distributed EMS and humanitarian teams to ensure coverage across all critical zones where pilgrims are present.

This volunteer participation represents a vital pillar of SRCA’s proactive response strategy and complements its operational units working during the Hajj season. It reflects the Authority’s deep commitment to its humanitarian mission and to serving pilgrims with the highest level of care and compassion.
