The Saudi Red Crescent Authority has signed a cooperation agreement with Al Kindi Medical Company, with the aim of contributing to community service and exchanging expertise in the field of emergency medical services.
The agreement stipulates the direct handling of emergency cases in the northern area of Riyadh and the transfer of patients to appropriate healthcare facilities, thereby strengthening the role of the private sector in providing emergency medical services as part of community partnership.
Under the terms of the agreement, the Saudi Red Crescent Authority will provide the company’s participating teams with lectures on the medical protocols adopted by the Authority. In turn, the company will deliver emergency medical services and respond to cases referred from the operational control center, in accordance with the Authority’s established protocols.
This cooperation agreement comes in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to develop various service sectors, and reflects the Authority’s commitment to achieving the highest standards in emergency medical services for patients and the injured.
