The Saudi Red Crescent Authority Showcases Its Emergency Response Efforts at the Hajj Conference and Exhibition in Jeddah

The Saudi Red Crescent Authority began its participation today, Sunday, November 9, 2025, in Hajj Conference and Exhibition held in Jeddah from November 9 to 12, 2025. The Authority is showcasing its efforts through an informative and interactive pavilion that highlights its role in developing the emergency response system serving the Guests of Allah.

The pavilion features advanced response mechanisms adopted by the Authority in handling emergency reports and cases, along with a live demonstration of the Medical Dispatch Center’s operations — showcasing how reports are received and field teams are directed to ensure rapid response and high-quality service delivery.

The participation also includes the “Learn a Skill” initiative, aimed at raising public awareness and training visitors on essential first aid skills, including:

• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for cardiac and respiratory arrest cases
• Dealing with choking incidents
• Bleeding control
• Use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

The Authority’s participation comes as part of its mission to highlight its vital role in Hajj and Umrah services ecosystem, as well as its ongoing efforts to promote first aid awareness and community preparedness. Each year, the Authority provides integrated medical and emergency services to the Guests of Allah through an advanced field network that includes ground and air ambulance teams and seasonal centers equipped with the latest technologies.

Through its presence at the conference, the Saudi Red Crescent Authority reaffirms its commitment to enhancing operational and technical readiness and continuously developing its personnel and services, contributing to the realization of Saudi Vision 2030 goals for a more efficient, sustainable health sector and an improved quality of life for the Guests of Allah.
