The Saudi Red Crescent Authority branch in Al-Jouf has awarded a “Compliance Certificate” to the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) office in Al-Qurayyat after the office successfully met all approved emergency-safety standards required for public facilities. The certification comes as part of the “Mua’ath” Project, launched by the SRCA to enhance emergency safety across government and service sectors.
Mua’ath Project aims to elevate emergency readiness, train government employees on proper response to urgent cases, verify the availability of first-aid tools and equipment, and ensure full adherence to approved safety standards—creating a safer environment for employees and visitors.
The certificate was formally handed over during an official meeting at the SFDA office in Al-Qurayyat, where Mr. Nazzal bin Farhan Al-Sulayman, Acting Director General of the SRCA branch in Al-Jouf, presented it to Mr. Hithloul Al-Shammari, Director of the SFDA office in the governorate.
Mr. Al-Sulayman emphasized that this step reflects ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration and integration among government agencies, underscoring the importance of promoting emergency-safety culture and improving preparedness for handling emergencies in workplace environments. He also praised the SFDA office for its commitment to the approved standards and its dedication to maintaining a safe and compliant facility.
For his part, Mr. Al-Shammari expressed his appreciation to Al-Jouf Red Crescent branch for the initiative, noting that earning the Compliance Certificate demonstrates the office’s deep commitment to safety and adherence to the highest quality standards. He added that this accomplishment will further enhance the office’s readiness to efficiently serve beneficiaries.
The certification of the SFDA office in Al-Qurayyat under the Mua’ath Project reinforces its commitment to safety requirements and strengthens its ability to respond effectively and professionally to emergency situations.
