The Saudi Red Crescent Authority in Makkah Region has announced its training and awareness statistics for the third quarter of 2025, which included the implementation of 277 training courses and awareness lectures benefiting 19,201 participants from various segments of society, as well as public and private sector entities.
The programs included public awareness sessions aimed at promoting first aid knowledge and raising health awareness among citizens and residents, in addition to specialized training programs for government and private sector organizations to enhance their readiness and response during emergency situations.
The Authority also carried out awareness initiatives in schools and universities as part of its efforts to build a generation equipped with essential life-saving skills. Furthermore, training programs were conducted for employees of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and other agencies operating in the central area to enhance their preparedness to serve the Guests of Allah during peak seasons.
During the same period, the Authority highlighted its active role in the “Mua’ath” Project, which was implemented in cooperation with various government and private entities. The project aims to develop national capabilities in emergency response training and unify efforts to strengthen efficiency in handling emergencies across workplaces and communities.
The Saudi Red Crescent Authority in Makkah Region reaffirmed its commitment to expanding community training and awareness initiatives, encouraging citizens and residents to register for accredited courses through the Authority’s “Mutaaheb” platform, which offers a wide range of training opportunities in first aid and emergency response.
