Kate Forbes, President of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, honored the Saudi Red Crescent Authority in recognition of its outstanding efforts in supporting humanitarian responses worldwide.

The Jordanian Red Crescent also honored the Saudi Red Crescent Authority by awarding it the "Golden Medal" in appreciation of its distinguished humanitarian efforts and its prominent role in supporting relief and humanitarian work at both regional and international levels.

The awards were received by Dr. Jalal bin Mohammed Al-Owaisi, President of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, during his chairing of the authority's delegation participating in the 11th Conference of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in the Middle East and North Africa, held in Jordan. The conference aims to enhance humanitarian cooperation and develop rapid response capabilities to address the increasing humanitarian challenges in the region.

This participation reaffirms the Kingdom's commitment to supporting regional humanitarian efforts and its dedication to strengthening joint cooperation with the International Federation and Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. Through this conference, the authority emphasized its leading role in relief and humanitarian work, striving to leverage its capabilities and expertise to alleviate suffering and protect lives everywhere.
