In a demonstration of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority's significant capabilities and rapid response efforts to emergencies, especially in rugged, elevated, and remote areas, the air ambulance service of the Saudi Red Crescent in the Jazan region has attended to a medical case at an elevation of 3,000 feet in Al-Jabal Al-Aswad, located in Al-Rith.
The details reveal that the Authority's branch received a call at (997) from a citizen reporting a medical condition in the Al-Jabal Al-Aswad center in Al-Rith that required ambulance intervention and urgent healthcare provision.
Upon receiving the information from the caller, it became evident that the case was situated at an elevation of 3,000 feet. Due to the site's rugged terrain, the air ambulance was dispatched to respond to the case. The team successfully reached the location, provided the necessary emergency care, and transported the individual to Prince Mohammed bin Nasser Hospital.
This air ambulance service aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, facilitating quick access to emergency medical care and preserving the health and lives of individuals across this beloved nation.
