The branch of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority in the Asir region has completed its preparations to participate in the 94th National Day celebrations, providing medical and ambulance services at all event locations in the region, according to a previously approved plan.
The Acting General Director of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority in Asir, Mohammed bin Ali Al-Taraf, stated that the preparations included equipping 54 ambulance teams, eight specialized response teams, and over 22 mobile medical teams distributed across areas with high concentrations of celebrants.
He added that the plan encompasses ambulance coverage in crowded celebration venues, as well as on the highways connecting cities and governorates in the region, where ambulance and specialized response teams have been stationed to minimize response times.
Al-Taraf indicated that the implementation of the plan will involve 116 paramedics and specialists, in addition to 90 volunteers. He also confirmed the readiness of the Command and Control Center to manage operational activities around the clock during the celebration days.
He emphasized the importance of clearing the way for ambulance teams to enable them to provide medical services effectively and urged individuals not to hesitate to request ambulance services when needed, by calling (997), through the "Asefni" application, or sending an emergency call via the "Tawakkalna" app. He concluded by wishing everyone continued health and wellness.
