His Excellency the Minister of Health and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, Mr. Fahd bin Abdulrahman Aljalajel, praised the emergency services and humanitarian initiatives provided by the Saudi Red Crescent Authority to improve emergency services, as well as the advanced technologies the Authority adopts in ambulance operations, crisis, and disaster management.

This came during his visit to the Saudi Red Crescent Authority's pavillion, participating in the Global Health Exhibition 2024, held in the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center - Malham, from October 21 to 23, 2024. His Excellency was briefed on the initiatives and efforts of the Authority in serving beneficiaries and its humanitarian work. He also received a detailed orientation during his visit to the smart systems used by the Authority, such as the rapid response systems that accelerate the handling of emergency cases.

Accompanied by the Authority's President, Dr. Jalal bin Mohammed Al-Owaisi, Minister Fahd Aljalajel inspected the new ambulance vehicle, explored its features and advanced equipment, and listened to a detailed explanation about its components and modern technologies. These innovations contribute to improving the quality of emergency services and enhancing preparedness to handle all types of emergency reports and cases.

His Excellency toured the Red Crescent’s pavilion and experienced the comprehensive visitor journey, which includes an interactive awareness experience. This journey begins with an overview of the EMS service, air ambulance, awareness and training lecture halls, and interactive screens that narrate the Red Crescent’s journey in volunteering and international cooperation, including its humanitarian services such as restoring family links efforts. Additionally, the pavilion offers educational segments for visitors from all sectors of society.

The Minister of Health also reviewed the Saudi Red Crescent Authority’s future plans to enhance the efficiency of emergency services and expand their coverage to remote and rugged areas, utilizing the latest air and ground transport technologies. He also was briefed on the Authority’s efforts to improve the quality of emergency services through technical and digital solutions, as well as innovative strategies aimed at improving healthcare and emergency services provided to both citizens and residents.
