The Saudi Red Crescent Authority branch in the Northern Borders region has, for the second day, raised the readiness level of its EMS teams, with the potential to deploy additional emergency teams as needed, in anticipation of the expected weather fluctuations in the Northern Borders.

The Authority urged citizens and residents to adhere to Civil Defense instructions and take necessary precautions to protect against the risks associated with heavy rainfall and floods. It also emphasized the importance of following traffic safety rules, such as avoiding excessive speeding while driving to prevent skidding and steering clear of areas where water accumulates.

Mr. Musaed Al-Enezi, Director of the Authority's branch in the region, clarified that the operations room receives emergency service requests around the clock via the number (997) and the "Asefni" application.
