


The Board of Directors of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority held its first quarterly meeting for the year 2025, chaired remotely by His Excellency the Minister of Health and Chairman of the Board, Fahad bin Abdulrahman Al-Jalajel, to discuss the latest developments and strategic plans of the Authority.
During the meeting, the board reviewed key performance indicators and discussed ways to enhance the quality of emergency services to ensure faster and more efficient response times, in alignment with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to improve healthcare and emergency readiness. Discussions also addressed financial sustainability to ensure the continued delivery of health and emergency services, along with the Authority’s plans for the Hajj season, commending the ongoing efforts to achieve maximum preparedness to serve the Guests of Allah.
In the context of institutional excellence, the board expressed its pride in the Authority’s recent achievement of the King Abdulaziz Quality Award, recognizing its commitment to the highest standards of quality and innovation.
Several regulatory frameworks were also approved, reaffirming the Authority’s commitment to continuous improvement.
The meeting further covered topics such as digital transformation initiatives, training and volunteer programs, and the expansion of air ambulance services to boost emergency response capacity.
His Excellency the Minister emphasized the importance of innovation and strategic partnerships in achieving top-quality emergency services, praising the Authority's continued efforts in community service and life-saving work.
