The Saudi Red Crescent Authority in Al-Baha participated yesterday in the (Fast with Health) initiative aimed at promoting health awareness. The event was organized by the Al-Baha Health Cluster in collaboration with the Al-Baha Municipality, with the Red Crescent contributing 76 male and female volunteers and 3 ambulance teams at the Al-Hawiyah Walkway in Al-Baha City.

Mr. Sultan bin Saad Al-Malki, Director General of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority in Al-Baha, stated that the participation included providing medical check-ups for attendees to support public health and disease prevention.

Al-Malki expressed his appreciation for the support of Dr. Ali Al-Sawat, Mayor of Al-Baha, and Dr. Mushabab Al-Asmari, CEO of the Al-Baha Health Cluster, for their encouragement of the Red Crescent teams participating in the initiative. The initiative focused on promoting a culture of walking, proper sleep habits, and conducting essential medical tests, in addition to enhancing overall health awareness in the region.

The initiative witnessed high engagement and attendance from participants of all age groups, who benefited from the educational activities, awareness sessions, and events held as part of the program.
