As part of strengthening cooperation and integration between government entities, the Hail Region Municipality signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Saudi Red Crescent Authority in Hail. The goal is to improve response times to emergency cases and support urgent health services in the central area, which includes Barzan, Al-Olaya, and Al-Mahatta that witness a high volume of emergency reports.
The memorandum stipulates preparing a location for the deployment of emergency teams in the central area at the Al-Wusta Municipality headquarters, and allocating a dedicated parking space for an ambulance, contributing to faster response to emergency situations. Additionally, an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) will be installed at the Al-Wusta Municipality building, with the Red Crescent Authority committing to train municipal staff in first aid and AED use to enhance their readiness in handling emergency cases.
The memorandum was signed on behalf of the Hail Region Municipality by His Excellency Eng. Sultan bin Hamid Al-Zaidy, Mayor of the Region,
and on behalf of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority by His Excellency Mr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Yahya, Director of the Authority’s Hail Branch.
This cooperation reflects the shared commitment of both parties to enhance the quality of health and emergency services provided to citizens and residents and to ensure prompt response to emergencies in the region.
