His Excellency president of Saudi Red Crescent Authority, Dr. Jalal bin Mohammed Al Owaisi, presides the meeting of the Arab Red Crescent and Red Cross Organization (ARCO), in Riyadh themed "Unity for Humanity", under the patronage of Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region.

His Excellency welcomed the participating delegations that represent 21 red cross and red crescent Arab societies in addition to observers and representatives from number of international organizations. 

Dr. Al Owaisi expressed his deep gratitude and thanks to H.R.H prince Faisal bin Bandar for his generous patronage and support to the Arab joint works, and also expressed his appreciation to the Secretary General or ARCO, Dr. Salih Al Tuwaijri for their efforts in raising the organization and their help in delivering their message.

First day of the session included discussions on nomination of the Arabic group for the constitutional entitlements of the international movement, and the invitation of unification of the Arabian action in serving humanitarian effort in Arab region and the international level in general, for the current changes and development witnessed in the regional level and international from conflicts to famine and natural threats.

The session also included a presentation to the delegations on services of SRCA ambulatory fleets. Leaders of the delegations as well the President of the International Federation of the Red Crescent and the Red Cross and the President of the Italian Red Cross, Francesco Rocca praised the quality of the services and the high level of technology used in providing services and responding to emergency cases to save lives and the huge development witnessed in the ambulatory work in the Kingdom.
