His Excellency the Minister of Health, Mr. Fahd bin Abdulrahman Al-Jalajil, accompanied by a number of ministry officials, visited the headquarters of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority branch in the Najran region. Upon their arrival, they were received by the branch's general manager, Mohammed bin Ali Al-Faraj Al-Aseeri, and a number of branch officials. During his visit, the minister was briefed on the region's command and control center, the operational procedures, and the mechanism for medical transfers from receiving reports to their handling by ambulance teams.

He also received a brief explanation of the response time over the past four years and the branch's achievements in activating the pathways for heart attacks and strokes, as well as the percentage of successful CPR cases for the year 2022, which reached 4.74%, and for the year 2023, which reached 13.74%. A live emergency call to an ambulance team in Shurura center was also reviewed. The minister praised the efforts of the authority in serving patients and casualties, as well as the high coordination and cooperation between the Saudi Red Crescent Authority and the Ministry of Health facilities, aiming to provide the best healthcare services to patients and casualties.
