SRCA has completed preparations to receive and serve guests of Allah in Hajj season 2022 taking advantage of cutting-edge technical approaches to provide high quality ambulatory services with manpower, fleet of ambulance vehicles and aircrafts, motorcycles, golf carts to support field ambulatory process using the technical capabilities to deliver high quality ambulatory services.
The Authority is participating this year with more than 1288 medical cadres distributed among 97 ambulatory centers in Makkah Holy Capital City, Mina and Arafat sacred areas, support complex and seasonal centers for pilgrims.
The Authority also allocated 335 manpower for logistic support for field duties with over 377 ambulance fleet of 192 ambulance vehicles, 128 advanced response unit vehicles, 6 air ambulances, 9 motorcycles, 4 medical supply vehicles, 16 qualitative response vehicles as well service vehicles to support administrative works during Hajj season.
Volunteering teams will also be a supportive arm of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority in Hajj season, with more than 500 volunteers in various medical and health specialties to provide ambulatory services at allocated centers in the holy areas as well as spread awareness and health education to pilgrims regarding preemptive methods against pandemics or other diseases.
With more than 150 operators of different specialties, the Saudi Red Crescent Authority will receive emergency calls to perform necessary actions of dispatching and following up with ambulatory teams until reaching emergency location and transfer victims to proper medical institution.
