In cooperation with Imam Mohammed bin Saud Islamic University, SRCA inaugurated "First Medical Responder – FMR" program in its first edition with the aim of development of first aid skills for various sectors of the community.
The program launched in the University attended by his excellency president of SRCA, Dr. Jalal bin Mohammed Al Owaisi and the dean of the College of Medicine and the General Supervisor of Medical Services, Dr. Tariq bin Abdulrahman Al Asbali.
The Spokesman of SRCA, Abdulaziz Al Suwayni, indicated that the program reflects the mutual cooperation between the two parties in developing IMSIU staff in delivering first aid support in emergency cases and help in providing medical care for those cases to save and maintain lives.
He also added that the program included necessary first aid skills to deal with more than one emergency case in one time, and methods of providing medical care without the need of medical materials or devises.
The FMR program is a result of SRCA efforts in raising awareness level in the community of the importance of learning first aid, by setting different training programs in Muta'aheb training platform as well other distance-learning courses.
