On behalf of myself and the members of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, I am pleased to extend the highest expressions of congratulations and blessings to His Majesty the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Trustworthy Crown Prince – may Allah protect them – the honorable Saudi people, and the Arab and Islamic nation on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha. We pray to Almighty God to bring this occasion back to all with blessings and prosperity, and to perpetuate the blessings of security, safety, goodness, and prosperity on our beloved country under our wise leadership.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is honored and proud that Allah made it home to His ancient house and the direction of prayer for Muslims. As such, the leaders and people of this country are privileged to serve the Two Holy Mosques and provide all that ensures comfort, tranquility, and services for the guests of the Most Merciful.
Since the beginning of the influx of pilgrims to the Holy House of God into the Kingdom at the start of the month of Dhul Qi'dah, the ambassadors of life and ambassadors of generosity set off together for the land, air, and seaports to welcome the guests of the Most Merciful, providing medical care, precautionary measures, awareness, and humanitarian services to them. Their journey continued by providing services in the ambulance centers within cities and provinces throughout the regions of the Kingdom, and in the temporary seasonal centers on the roads leading to Mecca and Medina, reaching the sacred sites and the Grand Mosque until the departure of the pilgrims from Arafat. They devoted themselves with utmost sincerity for the health and safety of the pilgrims to the Holy House of God, and this giving will continue until the completion of the rites by the guests of the Most Merciful.
The government of my master, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, has been keen on the safety and health of the pilgrims to the Holy House of God since the time of the late King Abdulaziz, may God have mercy on him. During these blessed days in 1353 AH, the idea of establishing a charitable ambulance association in the Kingdom was born as the first organization to provide ambulance service for the guests of the Most Merciful, and these services have continued to increase and expand. This year, the Saudi Red Crescent Authority has assigned more than 4,500 healthcare practitioners and volunteers to contribute to the services provided by the state sectors to the pilgrims of the Holy House of God, continuing the journey of giving for this humanitarian entity in this giving country.
We in the Authority have also been keen to integrate efforts with governmental bodies to form a common work system for readiness and preparation to serve the guests of the Most Merciful in performing their rites with ease and convenience, in addition to supporting the governmental and security sectors and training them on first aid to deal with emergency cases, so they can be the first responders when needed. Thus, the pilgrims to the Holy House of God can enjoy safety and perform their rites with reassurance, with the support and concerted efforts of everyone, God willing.
On this occasion, I am pleased to express my pride and appreciation for what the ambassadors of life and giving and all those affiliated with the Saudi Red Crescent Authority are recording in terms of work and services during the Hajj season, reflecting their dedication and concern for the safety of the pilgrims to the Holy House of God through their provision of humanitarian services and emergency medical care, in implementation of the directives of our wise leadership and its full attention to the guests of the Most Merciful.
In conclusion, I ask Almighty God to complete the rites for the pilgrims to the Holy House of God, to protect them and our wise leadership, and that these exerted efforts are crowned with success and prosperity.
