Air Ambulance service has succeeded in transferring 402 cases since the re-launch of the service last February until the end of November 2022, after the expansion of the service and its coverage of various regions of the Kingdom.
The authority stated in a statement that the service transported 141 cases through air ambulance flights, from April to last November, which included the regions of Riyadh, Makkah, and the Eastern Region, including 13 cases that were transferred in the last week of November.

the service also transported 261 other cases via life-saving flights in 12 regions from February to the end of November, most of which were in Riyadh with 56 cases, the Eastern Region with 47 cases, and Madinah with 31 cases, and one case each in Qassim and Makkah regions.

The Saudi Red Crescent Authority re-launched the air ambulance service after a hiatus during which the project underwent some developments and improvements in order to support ambulance work on the ground, which contributes to the geographical expansion of the ambulance service in the Kingdom.
