Spokesman of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority Mr. Abdelaziz Al- Suwayni revealed that SRCA operation centers received 93265 emergency call from different regions in the Kingdom during May 2022; with the total of 69547 cases treated and 46391 of them transferred to medical institutes.

He also indicated that the top three cases out of the total number of cases among all regions were for ordinary patients that reached 17469 cases, then car accidents with the total of 9874 cases and loss of consciousness cases with total of 6567 cases.

Makkah region received the biggest number of emergency calls that were treated with the total of 21819 cases including 7282 cases for ordinary patients, then 2881 cases of car accidents and 263 cases for burns. Then came Riyadh region with total of 17540 cases treated including 3393 cases for ordinary patients, then 2989 cases for car accidents and 2263 cases for loss of consciousness.

At the third position came the Eastern region with the total of 7664 cases treated including 2266 cases for ordinary patients, then 1287 cases resulted from car accidents and 758 cases for loss of consciousness. After that came Al Madinah region with total of 6322 cases treated including 1954 cases for ordinary patients, then 675 cases for loss of consciousness and 650 cases resulted from breathing problems.

Asir Regions came at the 5th position of cases treated with the total of 4768 cases including 1270 cases for ordinary patients, then 890 cases for car accidents and 590 cases of breathing problems. Then Al Qassim region with the total of 2951 cases treated including 790 cases for ordinary patients, then 493 cases of car accidents and 365 cases for loss of consciousness.

Jazan regions came at the 7^th region with the highest number of emergency cases treated with the total of 1996 cases including 546 cases for ordinary patients, then 405 cases of car accidents and 179 cases for loss of consciousness. After Jazan region came Tabuk Region with the total of 1987 cases treated including 667 cases for ordinary patients, then 345 cases for car accidents and 157 cases for loss of consciousness.

Hail Region witness the total number of 1495 cases treated with the top emergency cases included 225 cases for ordinary patients, then 192 for loss of consciousness and another 192 cases resulted from stomach pains and problems. Al Baha region followed with the total of 945 cases treated including 256 cases for ordinary patients, then 160 cases for car accidents and 88 cases for breathing problems.

Al Jouf region received 772 emergency cases treated included 184 cases for car accidents, then 134 cases for ordinary patients and 113 cases for loss of consciousness. Then came Najran region with the total of 709 emergency cases treated included 252 cases for ordinary cases, then 100 cases for car accidents and 77 cases for loss of consciousness. The Northern Borders region received the fewer number of emergency cases this month with the total of 581 cases included 163 cases for ordinary patients, then 109 cases for car accidents and 70 cases for loss of consciousness.
