President of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, Dr. Jalal bin Mohammed Al Owaisi commended efforts of those working in Humanitarian field during the previous years, his excellency indicated that our ambassadors of life proved that they are the real heroes with the ability to save lives in most difficult crisis and take it to safety ground.

Dr. Al Owaisi, on the occasion of the World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day which corresponds the 8th of May with the theme "Be Human Kind", stated that this international experience showed the importance the axial role that humanitarian and ambulatory staff are involved in to alleviate suffering from human especially after successive crisis of the spread of the epidemic, climate crises, humanitarian emergencies and escalating conflicts.

"During those difficult times, our ambassadors of life- in the Kingdom and outside- were standing in frontlines sacrificing their lives for humanity, and giving the most amazing examples of generosity and dedication", Dr. Al Owaisi stated. His excellency also indicated that they produced an inspiring story for the coming generations to realize lessons of saving lives and commitment and loyalty of the humanitarian works.

The theme of the world Red Cross and Red Crescent day of 2022 "Be Human Kind" is an inspirational theme to be adopted by workers in the Kingdom specialized in humanitarian work with a deep meaning of the message, vision and values of the SRCA that urged by our great religion to follow and abide urges to.

Dr. Al Owaisi concluded his speech expressing sincere appreciation to SRCA staff and volunteers for their great humanitarian efforts, becoming a role model in saving lives and alleviating the suffering with no discrimination, asking Allah his almighty to grant their efforts in their balance of good deeds and praise them for their efforts.
