SRCA has secured 58 volunteering opportunities related to protecting the environment from the beginning of January 2021 to the end of September 2022 with 595 volunteers participating from all over the Kingdom and the total volunteering hours reached 5491 hours.

Spokesman of SRCA, Abdulaziz Al Suwaine, for the Arab Environment day which is celebrated on October 14 each year, stated that the Authority believes that maintaining the environment is an inseparable part from our noble humanitarian and ambulatory message; as the environment has a direct effect on human health. For that, the Authority always make sure to launch initiatives even with other related entities to spread awareness to call the society to protect and save the environment.

He added that the volunteering opportunities provided in this field in the last two years have come to achieve this goal, as volunteers participated in campaigns and initiatives as well as volunteering opportunities in the environmental field for wilderness parks, public parks, beaches and reforestation campaigns all over the Kingdome, in addition to volunteering opportunities for environmental awareness on the importance of saving the environment.

Al Suwaine invited those interested in the environmental activities to follow on SRCA volunteering opportunities via the Authority's volunteering platform to contribute in delivering this important message and help spreading awareness on protecting the environment as well building generations that believe in the importance of maintaining the environment and its role in having a healthy lifestyle for everyone.
