The Saudi Red Crescent launched the air ambulance service for Hajj season 1445 H from the surrounding towers of the holy mosque in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Health and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Red Crescent, Eng. Fahd bin Abdulrahman Al Jalajel. This is part of the Kingdom's preparations to receive and serve the guests of Allah and provide various facilities to save lives and maintain their health during the Hajj season of 1445 H.
The superiority of the Kingdom's air ambulance service is demonstrated by its ability to quickly reach patients in different locations and provide specialized medical emergency services, transporting them to specialized healthcare facilities in a short time. This is done within an integrated healthcare system that starts with receiving the emergency report, providing the service, and ending with transferring the patient to specialized healthcare facilities.
This year, the Saudi Red Crescent is using seven helicopters in various areas surrounding the holy mosque and the holy sites to reach all patients and injured individuals. The launch of the service in the area surrounding the Holy Kaaba is considered an important strategic location to reach pilgrims in that area throughout their journey.
These services are part of the efforts of the healthcare system, which works with care and attention to every pilgrim, providing a variety of healthcare services, including air ambulance service, through a specialized Saudi crew qualified with the highest professional standards to deal with all types of emergency cases using the latest advanced medical equipment to serve the guests of Allah.
