The branch of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority in the Northern Borders region received 7,750 reports of various emergency cases in the operations room, which were promptly responded to by emergency teams and transported to medical facilities in the region, during the year 2023.
The General Director of the Authority's branch in the region, musaeid Ghali Al-Anzi, explained that the branch intensified its training programs, organizing 94 training courses and awareness-raising lectures, teaching first aid to deal with emergency cases. A total of 12,335 trainees benefited from these programs in the region.

He noted that during the past year, the branch implemented 407 diverse volunteer opportunities, with 781 volunteers contributing a total of 34,292 volunteer hours that benefited the community.
