The Saudi Red Crescent Authority held the first of its kind Saudi Conference on Ambulance Services in Riyadh from September 18th to 20th, at the Hilton Riyadh Hotel, in the presence of Dr. Mohammed Al Abdulali, Assistant Minister of Health, representing His Excellency the Minister of Health, Fahd bin Abdulrahman Al-Jalajil, the Chairman of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority Board.
Dr. Jalal Al Owaisi, the President of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, emphasized the organization's commitment in its ninetieth year to launch the first edition of the Saudi Conference on Ambulance Services, and its commitment to expanding the scope of influence by extending invitations and hosting 901 national societies around the world, as well as interested local and international organizations and associations.
It is worth mentioning that the conference is in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and the Saudi Red Crescent's transformation program as part of the health transformation program, aimed at enhancing the quality of health services through messages that achieve leadership in striving to save lives and serve humanity and society.
The conference includes three main tracks: "Ambulance Services, First Aid Skills, and Volunteering," targeting 3,000 participants, in addition to 5 accompanying activities, with the participation of more than 190 international entities.
