The Saudi Red Crescent Authority participated in the Hajj and Umrah Services Conference and Exhibition held in Jeddah, showcasing its services provided to the guests of Allah, including pilgrims and Umrah performers. The exhibition aimed to introduce the latest ambulance vehicles equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and specifications approved in advanced ambulance vehicles, equipped with all the systems used in the Red Crescent operating rooms, linking these vehicles to operating room systems, which contributes to providing emergency medical services faster.
The booth showcased the works of the Authority, especially first aid services, and presented new mechanisms belonging to the Saudi Red Crescent, including the "Rafidah" vehicle, the latest ambulance units. This includes a field training unit that includes internal cameras and external display screens to accurately transmit what is happening inside the vehicle for the field training of staff inside the car. These screens can also be used to display visual first aid instructions, in addition to the presence of a medical team and trained volunteers at the highest level, all within the framework of securing exhibitors and visitors and preparing for any emergency.
The "Tamiyyah" vehicle, one of the vehicles of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, drew the attention of exhibition visitors, as the Authority stands out by hosting the first amphibious ambulance vehicle of its kind in the Middle East. It is characterized by its qualitative response in emergency evacuation operations that are difficult to reach in rugged areas such as mountains, plains, and even water and muddy areas, with the ability to access the most difficult places, as well as its ability to carry out rescue and medical tasks.
Among the prominent specifications of the Tamiyyah vehicle: it can transport two patients and six other individuals, operate for approximately 19 hours without stopping, operate for more than 65 hours in standby mode, and contains warning lights for visibility in dark areas at night.
