Several branches of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority have obtained a number of international accreditations in quality management and institutional excellence systems, including the Quality Management System (ISO 9001), the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (ISO 45001), and the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) excellence model.

The branches of Tabuk, Al-Baha, the Eastern Province, Asir, Jazan, Al-Jouf, Al-Qassim, Riyadh, Makkah, Najran, and Hail received the ISO 9001 certification, which aims to ensure the consistent delivery of services and products that meet client needs by improving internal processes, enhancing beneficiary satisfaction, and achieving continuous improvement through effective quality management across all stages of work.

Meanwhile, the branches in the Eastern Province, Asir, and Al-Jouf obtained ISO 45001 certification, the internationally recognized standard for occupational health and safety management systems. This certification aims to ensure a safe working environment, minimize risks and workplace injuries, and protect employees’ health through the identification of hazards, preventive measures, and ongoing improvement.

Additionally, Jazan and Najran branches adopted the EFQM excellence model, a comprehensive framework for applying institutional excellence principles. It is used to assess organizational performance, identify areas for development, and integrate leadership, strategy, resources, and outcomes to achieve sustainable and distinguished institutional performance.

These accomplishments across the Authority’s regional branches reflect the Saudi Red Crescent Authority’s ongoing commitment to enhancing institutional work, improving organizational quality and performance, and achieving excellence through continuous support and development in all operational domains.
