The President of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, Dr. Jalal bin Mohammed Al Owaisi, received today at the Authoritys headquarters in Riyadh the newly appointed President of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, Dr. Hazem Bakleh, in his first official visit since assuming office. The visit aims to enhance cooperation between the two sides in humanitarian and relief efforts.
During the meeting, discussions focused on ways to develop joint efforts in disaster response and health emergencies, as well as mechanisms for exchanging expertise and coordinating the delivery of relief services to those in need.
Dr. Al Owaisi reaffirmed the Kingdoms commitment to supporting humanitarian initiatives and strengthening partnerships with regional and international organizations, contributing to improved crisis response and aid delivery in accordance with the highest standards.
For his part, the President of the Syrian Red Crescent expressed his appreciation for the Kingdoms role in supporting relief efforts, praising the depth of fraternal relations and emphasizing his aspiration for greater collaboration in various humanitarian fields.
