“Saudi Red Crescent” and “Cipher” Sign MoU for Security Vulnerability Detection and Cybersecurity Studies

The Saudi Red Crescent Authority signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Cipher, a cybersecurity company, under the patronage of the Authority’s President, Dr. Jalal bin Mohammed Al-Owaisi, on the sidelines of the Authority’s participation in the Global Health Exhibition 2024, held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center – Malham, from October 21 to 23, 2024.

The MoU stipulates that Cipher will provide cybersecurity services tailored to the needs of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, which include: (system and information processing protection, security vulnerability detection and assessment, cybersecurity evaluation and development, preparation of specialized cybersecurity studies, and enhancing integration and collaboration between key partners).

This MoU reflects the comprehensive renaissance that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is experiencing across all sectors, particularly in health and cybersecurity. It also complements the mission of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority and Cipher to contribute to building a knowledge-based society and improving emergency services, while aiming to enhance cybersecurity in the healthcare sector for mutual benefit.
