The Saudi Red Crescent Authority in the Makkah region has signed a cooperation agreement with Al-Riyada College of Health Sciences, aimed at strengthening community partnerships and developing initiatives that serve society while enhancing the skills of both the Authority’s staff and the College’s students.
The agreement was signed by Mr. Hassan Hussein Nafi, Director General of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority in the Makkah region, representing the Authority, and Dr. Ilham Al-Naqshabandi, Dean of Al-Riyada College for Health Sciences, representing the College.
Under the agreement, the two parties will collaborate to develop joint community projects that can be implemented to benefit society, while also expanding initiatives that positively impact the Authority’s employees, the College’s faculty, and its students. The agreement further includes the delivery of training programs, courses, and awareness lectures, as well as the organization of events and activities in the fields of medicine, emergency response, and public health awareness in line with the needs of both parties.
The agreement also emphasizes activating field training programs for the College’s students in accordance with established procedures, while enabling both parties to benefit from each other’s available resources to maximize the success of joint initiatives, in line with organizational policies and operational guidelines.
This collaboration reflects the Saudi Red Crescent Authority’s commitment in the Makkah region to strengthening sustainable community partnerships, supporting awareness and training efforts that promote a culture of first aid and improve public health awareness, while empowering Al-Riyada College students with practical field experience to enrich their academic and professional journey.
