The Saudi Red Crescent Authority is participating in the 34th International Conference of the Red Cross and Red Crescent, held in Geneva from 28 to 31 October 2024, with the participation of the International Committee of the Red Cross, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, and 191 Red Cross and Red Crescent societies, as well as signatories to the Geneva Conventions.
The Authority is represented by a delegation led by Dr. Jalal Al-Owaisi, President of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority.
Through this participation, the Saudi Red Crescent Authority aims to strengthen international strategic partnerships, share the Kingdom’s efforts at international forums, and collaborate with countries and international humanitarian organizations. The conference is considered a global platform that fosters cooperation within the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, addressing current and future challenges in humanitarian work and adopting various resolutions pertinent to the Movement.
