Saudi Red Crescent Showcases Its Emergency Response Capabilities and Trains Visitors at the 2025 International Autism Conference

The Saudi Red Crescent Authority in the Eastern Region commenced its participation today, Monday, 17 November 2025, in the Second International Autism Conference and Exhibition 2025, held over three days at Dhahran Expo. The participation features an informational and training pavilion highlighting the Authority’s humanitarian efforts and its most advanced emergency response mechanisms deployed in the field.

The pavilion included a display of several advanced response units, such as:
– Rapid Response Unit vehicles
– The “Spider” emergency response motorcycle
– Electric motorcycles
– Electric scooters
– The “Ebayya” rapid intervention vehicle
The aim is to familiarize visitors with the Authority’s capabilities in achieving swift access to emergency sites.

The participation also featured a dedicated training corner focusing on essential lifesaving skills; critical during the “golden eight minutes” following emergencies. Through the “Stop Me and Learn a Skill” initiative, visitors received hands-on training in:

  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
  • Bleeding control
  • Managing choking cases
  • Use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

Additionally, specialized SRCA emergency teams were deployed through onsite medical points to provide urgent care, when needed, and ensure rapid high-quality intervention throughout the conference.

This participation underscores the preparedness of the Saudi Red Crescent in the Eastern Region to respond efficiently to emergencies, while reinforcing its role in promoting community awareness and showcasing its emergency, training, and volunteer services. It also aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to enhance public safety, improve health preparedness, and raise the quality and efficiency of health services.
