As part of its operational plan for Hajj 1446 AH, the Saudi Red Crescent Authority has elevated its field readiness across all routes taken by pilgrimsfrom their arrival at land border crossings to their journey toward Makkah and Madinah.
SRCA has deployed over 150 emergency units strategically across roads leading to the Holy Sites. These units are managed by specialized field teams to ensure rapid response and high-efficiency handling of emergencies. More than 300 paramedics and emergency specialists are operating within these units, supported by 150 EMS vehicles equipped with state-of-the-art medical technology to deliver critical pre-hospital care.
The Authority has strengthened coordination with relevant government entities, positioning EMS teams at key locations across northern, southern, and eastern entry points to ensure a safe and smooth arrival for pilgrims and to provide immediate medical assistance when required.
SRCA remains committed to delivering uninterrupted emergency services until the last pilgrim departs through the same routes they entered, in alignment with the Kingdoms unwavering
commitment to safeguarding the health and well-being of the Guests of Allah. This reflects the directives of the wise leadership, which places the service of pilgrims and the care of the Holy Sites among its highest priorities.
