The branch of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority in Tabuk region has completed its preparations and readiness to participate in the celebrations of the 94th National Day, offering all medical, ambulance, and awareness services in the locations where the events will take place. This will be executed through previously prepared plans to ensure emergency medical presence at all national gatherings.
The Director General of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority in Tabuk, Nawaf bin Mi’ah Al-Enzi, stated that the Authority is prepared with a total of 35 ambulance teams, five rapid response teams, and over 16 mobile medical teams distributed across areas with a high density of celebrants on this day.
He added that the plan includes providing ambulance coverage in the most crowded celebration venues, during air shows, as well as the "Walk 94 Steps and Learn First Aid Skills" initiative, taking place at Prince Fahd bin Sultan Walk and the Central Park. Additional ambulance teams will also be stationed at other locations to ensure timely medical response, alongside ten awareness and educational booths.
Al-Enzi noted that this plan will be executed by 75 paramedics and specialists, along with 50 volunteers daily during peak times. The command and control center will also be prepared to manage operational activities around the clock during the days associated with this significant occasion for everyone.
He emphasized the necessity of clearing the way for ambulance teams to provide medical services effectively to those in need and urged individuals not to hesitate in requesting ambulance services in case of an emergency by calling 997 or through the "Asefni" application, or sending an emergency call via the "Tawakkalna" app, which saves considerable time and effort as it accurately determines the caller's location, facilitating the ambulance team's arrival. He also stressed the importance of benefiting from the awareness booths distributed at the celebration sites to learn first aid skills, wishing everyone continued health and wellness.
