The General Director of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority in Al Qassim, Mr. Khalid bin Saleh Al-Khudhr, stated that celebrating the 94th National Day requires increased efforts to ensure joy and happiness for the community while emphasizing the principle of "safety first." He confirmed that the Authority will cover all locations witnessing celebrations, totaling nine sites, according to a well-thought-out plan that includes the deployment of ambulance and medical teams, in addition to paramedics, specialists, and volunteers.
He noted that the number of EMS teams equipped with the latest medical devices has reached 33, staffed by 66 paramedics. Additionally, eight rapid response teams have been prepared, supported by 15 mobile teams. A total of 25 sites have been designated for the deployment of ambulance teams throughout the region.
The preparations also include the establishment of six volunteer booths, involving 150 volunteers, to provide all medical, ambulance, awareness, and volunteer services.
The Command and Control Room in Qassim receives all calls and reports requesting ambulance services in emergency situations in the city of Buraidah and all the region's governorates via the unified number (997) or through the "Asefni" application, in addition to emergency calls via the "Tawakkalna" app. Ambulance services are provided through 30 ambulance centers, along with air ambulance services based in Wadi Al-Ruma.
