The Saudi Red Crescent Authority has completed its preparations to participate in the 94th National Day celebrations, providing medical and ambulance services at all event locations across the Kingdom, in accordance with a previously approved plan.
Dr. Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Tuwaijri, Assistant President of the Authority for Operational Affairs, explained that the preparations include equipping 580 ambulance teams, 53 specialized response teams, and over 135 mobile medical teams distributed across areas with high concentrations of celebrants.
He added that the plan includes ambulance coverage in crowded celebration venues, as well as on the highways connecting cities and governorates in the Kingdom, where ambulance and specialized response teams have been stationed to minimize response times.
Al-Tuwaijri noted that the implementation of the plan will involve more than 1,000 paramedics and specialists, in addition to over 1,200 volunteers, with the potential to increase numbers as needed. He also confirmed the readiness of the Command and Control Center to manage operational activities around the clock during the celebration days.
He emphasized the importance of clearing the way for ambulance teams to enable them to provide medical services effectively and urged individuals not to hesitate in requesting ambulance services when needed, by calling (997), through the "Asefni" application, or sending an emergency call via the "Tawakkalna" app. He concluded by wishing everyone continued health and wellness.
